What is the mission of the Warrenton Youth Soccer Club? The founders of WYSC created the league as a place where children of all ages and abilities could learn about sports while having fun. The emphasis is on learning, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Inclement weather is used to describe all of the following factors: Lightning and Hail
Rules:
At the first sign of inclement weather all players must clear the fields/courts and seek shelter
Shelter is considered anything that has a fully enclosed roof and walls
All activities must wait 20 minutes from the last lightning or the last sound of thunder before taking the field/court. Every time you see lightning, you must wait 20 more minutes before you resume training.
WYSC will make the call to close fields and courts by 4:00 pm. After that time it will be left to the coaches discretion.
